Good news | Jia Jun won the title of "China Building Materials Group model worker"
On April 27, the trade union of China Building Materials Group issued the Decision of the trade union of China Building Materials Group on Commending the model worker and Advanced Collective of the Group in 2025 (China Building Materials Industry Development [2025] No. 3). Jia Jun, general manager of Xianyang Keyuan New Material Equipment Co., Ltd., was awarded the honorary title of "China Building Materials Group model worker".
Since entering the industry in 1995, Jia Jun has grown step by step from the grassroots level to become a core manager of the enterprise. In the field of new energy lithium battery calcination equipment, he led a team to successfully develop the first 10000 ton level negative electrode material rotary furnace in China in 2023, helping the company's output value increase by over 30 million yuan, promoting the localization process of the industry, and reducing downstream enterprise costs after equipment promotion.
In terms of scientific research and innovation, he has led multiple projects in the past five years, won 6 scientific and technological awards, 5 patents, published 2 core papers, and developed patented technologies to reduce equipment energy consumption. He has been rooted in the front line for 30 years, cultivating numerous young talents and building excellent teams. We have also achieved remarkable results in safety production and social responsibility, promoting the research and development of lithium battery recycling equipment to support the "dual carbon" initiative.
Previously, Jia Jun was also awarded the titles of "Advanced Grass roots Manager" in the building materials industry of Shaanxi Province, "model worker" by the China National Building Materials Institute, "Excellent Communist Party Member" by the Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology Working Committee of the Communist Party of China, and "Excellent Trade Union Chairman" by the China National Building Materials Institute.
