From February 9 to 10, 2025, in order to deepen the technical exchange in the field of special ceramics and promote the collaborative innovation of industry, university and research, the "2025 New Year Exchange Meeting of Special Ceramics Experts" hosted by Xianyang Ceramics Institute was held in Xianyang. More than 20 experts, scholars and industry representatives from Tsinghua University, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Jinan University, Sichuan University and other universities, as well as scientific research institutions such as the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Silicon Institute, Lanhua Institute and other scientific research institutions gathered together to conduct in-depth discussions around the innovative achievements, development trends, industrial applications, etc. of special ceramics, and seek a new path for the development of Xianyang Ceramics Institute.
The meeting was co chaired by Wang Hua, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of Xianyang Ceramic Institute, and Professor Gong Jianghong from Tsinghua University. Wang Hua first warmly welcomed the arrival of experts, scholars, and colleagues, and then briefly introduced the development philosophy and business areas of Xianyang Ceramic Institute. Finally, he hoped that through this meeting, he could strengthen close cooperation with experts, overcome difficulties, and expand the application fields of special ceramics. Subsequently, Bai Zhanying, member of the Party Committee and Executive Vice General Manager of Xianyang Ceramic Institute, gave a detailed introduction on the historical evolution, basic situation of the enterprise, technological innovation, leading products, and strategic planning of our institute.
At the exchange meeting, experts and scholars such as Gong Jianghong from Tsinghua University, Chen Daming from Beijing Institute of Aeronautical Materials, and Zhang Yue from Beihang University expressed their opinions. While acknowledging the achievements of Xianyang Ceramic Institute, they also put forward valuable suggestions based on the current situation of the industry. Experts have pointed out that the ceramic industry has broad development space in areas such as energy conservation, emission reduction, and waste utilization. Xianyang Ceramic Institute should leverage its own advantages and seek new economic growth points. In terms of technological innovation, experts emphasized the importance of intelligent control in ceramic equipment and high-end equipment. With the development of machine learning and artificial intelligence technology, the intelligent upgrade of equipment will improve product quality and production efficiency. At the same time, it is crucial to address issues such as device stability and precision requirements integration. In addition, experts also suggest that Xianyang Ceramic Institute enhance product awareness through various forms, expand corporate influence, and establish brand effect.
This exchange meeting has provided a platform for in-depth communication in the ceramic industry, promoting communication and cooperation among industry, academia, and research parties.
