Currently, graphite is the main negative electrode material, but silicon based materials have a significant capacity advantage and a broad market space. The negative electrode material of lithium batteries is made of active substances, binders, and additives into a paste like adhesive, which is applied on both sides of the current collector (copper foil) and dried and rolled to store and release energy, accounting for about 8% of the manufacturing cost of lithium batteries. At present, silicon based negative electrodes are mainly used in high-end 3C digital, electric tools and other fields, and are expected to open up an exponential growth channel in the field of power batteries. The market potential of silicon based negative electrodes is gradually opening up. Among the known negative electrode materials, silicon has a theoretical specific capacity of up to 4200mAh/g, which is more than 10 times that of graphite materials. It can provide channels for lithium to be embedded and removed from all directions, and has excellent fast charging performance, which is expected to become the next generation of negative electrode materials
